The washed sand contract for the town of Blandford was awarded to a company from Montgomery that can supposedly under bid all others by FIVE whole dollars? When all the other bids were within about $2 of each other? Odd, because the difference in price for the chipped stone was much less, even percentage-wise.
Oh and how is it that a place in Montgomery can deliver cheaper than other places in closer towns, including one in the town itself? Do they plan on just increasing in to whatever they need to when the time comes, thereby inevitably raising the price no matter what was agreed on?
How many of you realize that this contract went to the relatives of a tenant of one of the selectman??
